Electrophysiology is a specialized branch of medicine pertaining to the study of electrical activity in the human heart.
Electrophysiologist's remedy arrhythmias, or abnormal heart rhythms, within the human heart. Some examples of arrhythmias are: Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT), Atrial Fibrillation, and Ventricular Tachycardia (VT).
Diagnostic services and treatment options for arrhythmias include: Tilt Table Testing, Electrocardiograms, Echocardiograms, Holter or Event Monitoring, Exercise Stress Tests, Electrophysiology Studies. Treatment options: Ablations, Pacemaker, Defibrillator, Heart Medication, and Electrical Cardioversions.
